Over the years, we've been asked many times to become involved in the management of problems related to circumcision of the newborn boy. Often our involvement is of a preventive nature; we examine the newborn to be sure he does not have a defect such as hypospadias or chordee (penile curvature) that would make circumcision inappropriate.
